Sep 09, 2005 — A pro-environment group is filing legal action today aimed at blocking construction of a controversial cell phone tower on Pilot Knob, a hill above Lake George. The project was approved this summer by the Adirondack Park Agency and the Lake George Park Commission. But the Adirondack Council and a local activist group say New York state ignored evidence about the project's environmental impact. Brian Mann has our story.
