Pilot Darren Mesibov dusts off his Moonie M-20.
(06/02/06) Darren Mesibov started his flight instructor school at the Potsdam airport with nothing but a single-engine plane. He didn't even have an office - he'd meet students on the ramp leading up to the runway. He was just trying to build up enough hours to get his commercial pilot's license. (If you're interested in an intro flight, you can call Potsdam Aviation at (315) 262-0326. Or if you prefer to sit in the passenger seat, you can stop by the Potsdam airport any Friday evening. There's a barbeque from 6 pm till dark. And you might convince one of the pilots to take you for a ride.)
